Welcome to my New Web Location! I recently changed location of this site in the hopes it would be faster I apologize to anyone trying to view this site from a dial-up link. I am trying to cut down on some of the files sizes but there is a great compromise between fast and resolution. Also due to my own laziness in such matters--anyone using a web browser besides Bill's may not see correct formatting or be able to hear the music on various pages. On Patriotism "Naturally the common people do not want war: neither in Russia, nor England, nor, for that matter, in Germany. That is understood. But, after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country" ‑ Hermann Wilhelm Goring at the Nuremberg Trails ‑ On Faith "Man, once surrendering his reason, has no remaining
guard against absurdities the most monstrous, and like a ship without
rudder, is the spot of every wind. With such persons, gullibility, which
they call faith, takes the helm from the hand of reason and the mind becomes
a wreck."
No government ought to be without censors & where the press is free, no
one ever will. |
